When you submit your sports profile be sure to include an email address so that the coaches can contact you. We recommend that you don't include your private address or phone number. Our site gets over 2,000 unique visitors each day including athletes, coaches and parents. When you write to college coaches you will be able to include a link to your sports page that is hosted on our site. We are not a recruiting service and the college coaches know this. Your college years should be the best years of your life so have fun and enjoy the experience. You know you want to go to college; maybe you even have a couple of colleges in mind. If you want to play sports in college, you'll need to assess your abilities. |
Intramural and club sports are offered on most campuses and are usually ran by the students themselves. This permits students to compete for fun rather than conference championships.
Windsurfing has also been called sailboarding or boardsailing and is a water sport that uses a board-and-sail device and combines elements of surfing and sailing.
Paintball has been played in many different ways in many different places. It is a sport where all types of people and budgets are able to play on an even playing field. Overall the game has grown and continues to grow at a great rate and shows no signs of slowing in the near future. Paintball is simply great fun.
Scholarship searches can be done on the Internet, but don’t stop there. Visit the financial aid or student aid office at a local college. Pick up scholarship books at the library or bookstore.
In their sport, athletes spend 15-20 hours practicing and training, and during the season, many sports require considerable travel time causing missed classes. Academically, students spend 12-15 hours in class each week. To succeed at college you need a time management gameplan.
