college sports Recruiting services
athletic recruiting
agencies
If your nor an elite athlete then the
chances are you probably won’t be heavily recruited by college
coaches. This does not mean that there aren’t colleges out there
that would welcome you onto their team.
Many schools have limited
recruiting budgets and just don’t have the
resources or time to travel all over the country looking for
prospective players.
In this situation recruiting services can
help you get noticed by the coaches. For a fee, these businesses will
write up your athletic resume and distribute it to a large number of
colleges. Using a recruiting service does not in any way guarantee you a
sports scholarship. They do not send out emissaries to represent you at
colleges (agents are illegal in college sports!). They just do the
paperwork for you if you wish to apply to a large number of schools and
don’t have the time or patience to do it yourself.

Beware of scams. If you decide to use a recruiting service, do your
research. Choose a service that comes highly recommended by your high
school coach, your guidance department, or one of the main college
athletic associations. Beware of empty promises, there are no secrets to
the recruiting process and no guarantees. |

So, you have been elected or appointed to be your team
captain. What are your responsibilities? What do your teammates and
coaches expect of you? Or, maybe you feel like you could be a
leader on
your team even if you do not have the official title of captain.
The sports teams at
Albright College compete in the NCAA Division III
Middle Atlantic Conference; the school is also affiliated with the Eastern
College Athletic Conference.
