The University of Virginia's College at Wise is a public liberal arts college offering twenty seven majors, twenty seven minors, and twenty three teaching licensures. Degrees include Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In it's first year TASS provided financial aid to about one thousand young athletes from over fifty different sports. College coaches work hand in hand with the school's financial aid office. The first thing a coach does is see evaluate a athletes grades and circumstances to see if any other form of financial aid is available. Scholarship searches can be done on the Internet, but don’t stop there. Visit the financial aid or student aid office at a local college. Pick up scholarship books at the library or bookstore. |
