Athletic facilities include the Floyd Casey Stadium for football, the Ferrell Center for basketball and volleyball, the Baylor Ballpark for baseball, the Getterman Stadium for softball, the Hart-Patterson Trade Complex, the Better Lou Mays Soccer Field, the Hard Tennis Center, the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center, the Willis Equestrian Center, the Simpson Center for student-athlete services, the Simpson Center Weight Room, the Allison Indoor Practice Facility, and Gray’s Gymnasium and Strength Center.

The athletics programs at Baylor University are comprehensive and include varsity sports, intramural, club sports and fitness classes. Varsity sports include men’s baseball, cross country, basketball, golf, football, track and field, and tennis, as well as women’s basketball, cross country, equestrian, golf, acrobatics and tumbling, soccer, softball, volleyball, track and field, and tennis. Club sports are either organized into male, female or co-ed teams in crew, hockey, soccer, water polo, taekwondo, lacrosse, water skiing, and more. There are also over 40 aerobics classes, walking trails on campus, and studio cycling for students to enjoy.

The Baylor Bears are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I and compete in the Big 12 Conference. The Baylor Bears hold four national championships – one in men’s tennis, two in women’s basketball, and one in equestrian. The Bears have also shown success in the conferences, holding a total of 83 conference titles, most of them from men’s and women’s tennis. The team also holds 39 NCAA individual championships. The Baylor Bears have produced four Olympic gold medalists.
